The case, not just the error
BugTape keeps a captured occurrence, its requests, console trail, stack and available page replay together. A person or a coding agent starts from evidence instead of a one-line error.
The demo starts a local-only capture in your tab. No account, nothing sent.
Each report makes its own evidence clear. Browser reports can include a bounded DOM replay. Server and native reports show the context they received, without pretending to have browser history.
Read the error, stack, release and affected route in one report.
Inspect available request metadata, console messages and page state around the failure.
The browser SDK can retain up to 10 minutes of DOM activity before a report, within capture and retention limits. This is DOM replay, not a screen video.
Recording starts when the browser SDK loads and keeps a rolling buffer. Each report shows the history that was actually captured; session age and event limits can shorten it.
Illustrative timeline. Recording cannot recover activity from before the SDK loaded. Server and native reports do not contain browser DOM replay.
Recurring failures belong together so teams work from one clear issue instead of a long list of near-identical errors. Filter by project and severity, archive noise, and see who was affected.
Repeated checkout failure · 17 occurrences · evidence differs by occurrence · illustrative
See a live captureThree moves, each with a clear owner. BugTape does the first two; you and your agent decide the third.
People can report from inside your app. The web SDK also captures uncaught errors and failed requests with the buffered context.
Group repeated failures. Filter by project and severity. Archive noise and see who was affected.
Use the console yourself, send a signed webhook, or give an MCP agent the issue context.
Your agent can read the same issue you see. Connect through MCP, inspect the captured events, and keep the investigation in your workflow. BugTape supplies evidence; it does not promise automatic fixes.
For MCP clients including Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex.
MCP access is included in Pro. Signed webhook destinations are available on Free.
